| Representation: | This forest provides the best representation of several old pine associations on the valley train landform unit, including Red Pine and White Pine in association with intolerant hardwoods, and White Pine and Red Pine mixed forests. These pine forests comprise approximately 500 ha. Small amounts of Jack Pine, White Birch, Trembling Aspen, and Black Spruce are also found in this area. [Crins 1996] |
