Rare Species Reporting Form

The following form is to be used to submit records of provincially rare species (i.e. those tracked by the NHIC) from within Ontario. To determine if a species is tracked by the NHIC, refer to the species lists. A "Y" in the "Track" column indicates that a species is considered rare in Ontario and is tracked by NHIC.

The NHIC receives the rare species data from projects such as the Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas, the Ontario Odonata Summary, and the Ontario Herpetofaunal Atlas. Users of this form are not required, therefore, to submit rare species data if they have already been submitted to one of these projects.
